City of Carbondale Parking
In addition to the parking lots provided by the many businesses in Carbondale, the City also provides parking for just about everyone, including senior citizens, people with temporary disabilities, and those wanting year-round permits. More information on the City Parking Ordiances can be found in the Carbondale Revised Code.
The City of Carbondale maintains 1100 parking spaces downtown for convenient shopping. Parking meters are enforced from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

• Lot Permits are sold for individual lots
• Lot Permits are not sold for lots 5, 14, 20, 21, 22 & 24
• Not Valid at Street City Meters
