Spring Clean-Up Postponed Until Further Notice

The City of Carbondale has postponed its annual Residential Spring Clean-Up due to concerns related to COVID-19. This decision was made to protect the Refuse and Recycling employees who handle the refuse during the program. The City has also suspended bulk item pick-up until further notice.

During this time, we are asking residents to keep non-perishable items that will not fit completely into their trash carts. Once regular services resume, we will offer a large scale city-wide clean-up with a date to be determined later.

New Collection Guidelines Effective 12/16/19

Fully automated collection service will begin on January 20, 2020. This will require a few simple changes in how your carts are set out for collection.
