  4. Carbondale Trick-or-Treating

    October 31, 2020, 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM

The City of Carbondale asks that social gatherings, such as costume or Halloween parties, not take place this year unless six feet of social distance can be maintained and masks are worn at all times. The City encourages residents to find creative ways to safely hand out candy to trick-or-treaters while maintaining social distance, i.e. candy slides, goody bags on a string, etc. We also ask that both trick-or-treaters and those handing out candy where masks during all interactions. New this year, the City of Carbondale will host a Spooktacular Halloween Decorating contest. There will be two categories, residential and business. The winners will be decided by Mayor Mike Henry and each winner will receive a yard sign they can proudly display. We are excited to announce there will also be an online pumpkin carving contest and mask decorating contest during the month of October. More details will be announced soon on our social media platforms.
